One comment on “Topsy Turvy Halloween Showcase

  1. Thank goodness for improv! For this Halloween show we only got to spend maybe 1.5 hours total creating this piece (including concept, prop ideas, costuming etc.. that’s not much time, lol). Based on the folk tale of La Llorona, the mother who drowns her 2 children in the river, we added a little whimsy and humor because that’s who we are sometimes. No bee stings in this show (see Tribal Summit), but, during the drowning/death one of our dancers has a dramatic flop. We all thought at the time she was just throwing in some theatricality. It turns out, her arm popped out of the socket when she was going down. She was fine and all is well, thankfully. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Cmv5Rok848&feature=share
