Tips For Creating Tassel Belts

The classic ATS® tassel belt was inspired by the traditional headdresses worn by camels for formal ceremonies. When attached to a belt the tassels swing freely with movement and accent the dancer’s hip articulations perfectly!

1. Start with any belt base (such as those found on our tribal textile belts page)
2. Hand sew the top loop of the the tassel to the inside of the belt
3. Repeat at multiple points around the belt, as desired with additional tassels or pendants

Natural toned top loop with ornate metal tassel cap, multicolored beads, hand wrapped tube section ending with black tassels with blue beads. When multiples exist slight variations may occur.

Total length from top of loop to bottom of tassel is about 11″.
