More About Our Majestic Red Opulence Pantaloons

Fabric & Construction:

Premium cotton fabric feels soft to the touch. Highest quality construction with professionally finished interior seams. Light and bouncy fabric accents a dancers movements.

Accentuating the fabric’s detailed pattern are glued on glitter, sequins and paillette ‘mirrors’. Some sequin and glitter loss is normal and should be expected. ‘Mirrors’ have a larger surface area and are less likely to become dislodged, but, should be checked periodically, especially with vigorous dancing.

The sparkly nature of our majestic red opulence pantaloons make them ideal for all belly dance styles. Dressy enough to be worn without an overskirt or dress for stage work. When worn under skirts they create an extra dramatic element during spins when the skirt floats up and the audience is dazzled by sparkles.

Although they are most often used for performances, we love dressing regular street clothes with these fun pants, too.

Sizing:

One size at hip/waist.

Comfortably loose elastic and drawstring waist helps reduce pinched look (aka muffin top) at waist. Drawstring allows waist to cinch down to about about 19″ and elastic can give to about 54″.

Fullness of pants allows for hips up to 85/90″.

Pant length is 46″. They are measured from top of waistband to bottom of the elastic casing at the ankle. Remember you want these pants to billow over the top of the foot. Choose a length that will allow a slight billowing effect at the bottom (so think from the top of where the waistband would sit to the top of your foot plus an extra little bit for billowing)
