More About This Charcoal Crystal Bead Bracelet

Castanets are a percussion instrument made of two concave, shell-shaped clappers—historically made of wood like chestnut or ebony—joined at one edge by a cord or mounted on handles. While famously associated with Spanish flamenco, they were actually invented over 3,000 years ago by the Phoenicians. Musicians produce their signature rhythmic clicking by clapping the shells together, often while dancing or performing in an orchestra.

These Handled Castanets feature the clappers mounted onto a central handle, making them easier to play for quick rhythmic passages in orchestral settings.

Carrying case features vintage Hari Tari fabrics from India mounted on all new black cotton with satin lined interior. Zipper top and 2 carrying handles make transportation easy… and stylish!

Previously owned and on consignment. Castanets are in very good condition. Could be mistaken for new.
