This custom Nawaar set is one of our director, Jennifer Secrist Goran’s original designs. For the original batch each of our dancers made their own set, so, each one is completely unique. This one was made by our former co-director, Rosie Moceri and features rich brown and champagne silver tones. Set includes belt with panel skirt & tassels, choli with accents, gauntlets/sleeves, necklace and pantaloons. Everything you need for a performance.

These pieces can be worn together like shown or mix and match them with other pieces in your wardrobe for a variety of different looks.

More About This Custom Nawaar Set

The pants, panel skirt and accents on the choli and necklace are made of vintage sari fabrics. Black flying skirts long sleeve choli for the base of the top. Long exquisite white tassels accent hip movement and are quite the statement piece. Necklace is lined with cotton fabric and is comfortable to wear. These pieces can be worn together like shown or mix and match them with other pieces in your wardrobe for a variety of different looks.

Previously owned and on consignment. In moderate-good condition. Signs of wear in the choli. Vintage sari fabric on other pieces is in good condition overall.

Size:

Pants are about 40″ long from top of waistband to bottom of ankle casing and fit hips up to 58″ with a drawstring and elastic waistband. Necklace base is 14″ long (24″ with ties) by 2″ tall with Kuchi adorned pendant of about 4″ tall. Belt is sewn on one side with trouser hooks on the other side, that can be moved to accommodate slightly larger and smaller sizes. Right now it is set to fit about 37-38″. Length on and panel skirt is about 30″ (little longer with jeweled drape at bottom). Medium size choli top fits A cup dress size 14-16, B cup dress size 10-14, C cup size 6-12. Gauntlets fit about an 8″ wrist, are 15 1/4″ long and fit about 12″ at the wider end.
