Any seasoned performer has been there. You show up to a venue expecting the stage to have a smooth danceable surface only to find the opposite is true. Splintered wood with uneven surfaces in a stage, the unexpected finds in an outdoor grassy field venue, rough street festival pavement or uncleaned restaurant and bar room floors can spell certain doom for dancer’s feet.

In order to handle the varying conditions of both indoor and outdoor performances we’ve found having a pair of basic multipurpose dance shoes always residing in our gig bag helps us be prepared for any surprises.
