More About This Authentic Assuit (Tulle bi telli) Vintage Tunic

Traditional Assuit fabric (also known as Tulle bi telli). The Assuit fabric have long been loved by belly dancers near and far and have been featured in classic Hollywood films, such as Cleopatra and Samson & Delilah. Grey blue mesh base is adorned with metal folded details.

Previously owned and on consignment. In vintage condition with some slight fading. No holes or stains that we could find. Seams, hems and sleeves are all in very good condition.

Size:

Length from shoulder to bottom hem is about 56 1/2″. Slightly stretchy fabric fits busts up to about 52″ and hips up to about 56″. Narrowest section of sleeve is about 19″ around.
