More About Our Advanced Belly Dance Classes In Boulder, CO

Advanced Level 3 Class, 5:30 – 6:45pm:

Expanding and refining skills learned in our beginning & intermediate classes, emphasis for this class will be on developing tools for use in student and professional shows, thru understanding of musicality & phrasing, use of more complex formations & transitions and additional vocabulary of advanced level steps and movements.

Deeper discussions of our dance style, its history and current issues related to dance.

Audition required to attend.

Class Format, Cost & Prerequisite

All of our classes will be using a hybrid format with classes happening online & in person at our studio simultaneously.

Online Classes:
You can choose to join us with Zoom from the comfort of your own home, optionally share your camera & ask questions and make comments in real time.

In Person Classes:
Limited in person spaces are available during class time. We will wipe down the studio doors, hand rails and often touched surfaces as needed. During class we will run our heavy duty HEPA filter air purifier. Even with these precautions there is a risk of contracting a cold, flu or covid. We suggest that if you are in a high risk category that you choose the online format. At this time masks are optional.

Cost:
$102 per 6 week session base cost ($17/class). Session costs may include gift certificates for classmate’s upcoming birthdays, when applicable.

Prerequisite:
Audition is required to join this class.

Dress For Class:

Any fitted top and pants or skirt that provides full range of movement. Socks or bare feet are best in the studio. Hip scarves, jeweled or tassel belts are optional. A few loaner zils are available for use in the studio during class, if you forget yours. Tuesday dress rehearsals are mandatory the week before a performance. You will need your own costuming, jewelry, props and accessories.

Class Time & Studio Hours:

Classes run from 5:30-6:45pm. The studio is open at 5:00pm, a half hour before classes start. If you would like to come before 5:00pm to shop the marketplace, simply send us an email to make sure we are available.

Online Belly Dance Classes & Class Video Recordings

Want to join us for ONLINE belly dance classes? We gotcha covered!

All of our classes use a hybrid format and can be joined via Zoom if you can’t make it to the studio. You can interact with the teachers and other students live during class or watch the recordings (available for 4 days after each class). The recording links are shared in our private groups on facebook, where you can also comment and interact with other students from the session.

Auto Enrollment

If you plan to continue with your dance studies you may want to sign up for auto enrollment. With this free service you’ll:

• have a space reserved for you in class indefinitely
• no longer have to log on to purchase your class, we’ll process your card automatically the week before the new session
• get 10% off all online product purchases (except sale and consignment) when you use your personal coupon code
• enjoy free online attendance in our Thursday Mixed Level Classes at 5:30pm via zoom (or in person at the studio, if space permits)
• be able to join us in the studio for Tuesday’s Advanced Level 3 Class at 5:30pm for 1/2 price

We’ll keep your card on file and run your class payment a week before the new session starts. To set up this service, just talk to us in class or give us a call. To cancel, simply let us know anytime before the next session payment is charged.

We can ship anything you may need right to your doorstep!! If you prefer to shop in person you can come by the studio 30 minutes before each class starts or you can make an appointment to shop any other time.
