Doing our part to reduce waste one recyclable, one compostable and one upcycled garment a time..

Here at The Nawaar Marketplace we take minimizing waste seriously.

Tribe Nawaar recycles

Zero Waste

By choosing to offer on-site recycling & composting and with our efforts to re-use those materials that are not recyclable or compostable we are nearing our goal of being a zero waste business.

Tribe Nawaar recycles & reuses to reduce our carbon footprint

Helping Others Reduce Waste

We partner with other local businesses and individuals to accept their unwanted paper packaging, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, foam padding & cardboard boxes.

Upcycled garments from Tribe Nawaar are eco-chic!

Upcycled Costuming & Clothing

What does ‘upcycled’ mean?
It’s when you take an existing garment that is no longer wanted or needed and turn it into a brand new creation.

Giving new life to vintage sari fabrics is one of our favorite examples of our upcycled pieces. These amazing vintage sari fabric are cleaned, pressed and re-made into salawar pants, fringed hip scarves and our popular corseted bodice tops.
