As dancers and performers we need to cross train in order stay strong and flexible to make our movements appear effortless on stage. This class will incorporate yoga, Barre, and drills.

We will begin with a yoga warm up focusing on the muscles we use as belly dancers, then we will move into Barre. Barre is the dance conditioning used in Ballet. It strengthens the stabilizing muscles in legs, core, and along the spine (it’s the little muscles we didn’t know we had). After that we will go into drills building our endurance and initiating our movements with intention. Bring a yoga mat, water, a towel, and get ready to sweat!
