Want to perform, it’s easy:

From our hostess, Phoenix:

“If you want to perform, you can sign up at 6pm or later!
Please note that this is not formal nor is there a preset list of performers. It is a show up and sign up style hafla and in order to have our lovely 7 piece band, we will have a $5 cover.

Want to perform? Show up and sign up anytime after 6pm. The performances will be to live music and all improvisation style. You will have an opportunity to talk with the band and ask for a rhythm, tempo, energy, feel, etc. No cds. Up to you on how dressed up you want to be. You can slap on a coin scarf and just dance or get all dolled up. Really no rules other than FUN!”

Enjoy a Nepalese meal while your out:

Come and get some yummy food from Nepal! The swap and hafla will be set up in the large banquet hall and performance area of the Kathmandu Kitchen, formerly Cherry Creek Harbor – same location and owner.  They will have their full menu for the day and eve open. Support the venues that create usable spaces for the arts and enjoy a nice meal at the same time!
