I came up with our DIY Coin Bra Kit With Ring Ties for my fellow dancers, students and troupe mates to have affordable way to have a belly dance coin bra for performances.

The back crossing ties in this kit help distribute the weight of breasts and bra to the shoulders and back. This eases the neck pain sometimes associated with heavy belly dance bras with halter ties. Ideal for those with fuller busts or dancers who find traditional halter ties uncomfortable.

This kit contains all the basics you’ll need to get started creating your coin bra.. you’ll only need to have some basic sewing notions (needle, thread, scissors, pins & Fray Check) and a thick padded lingerie bra that fits your cup size (you can even up-cycle one of your old padded bras). You can choose to add the full color step by step instructions, if needed.
