Boulder Arts Week 2026

We are honored to be among the featured artists for Boulder Arts Week this year!

The Nawaar Dance Company has been established in Boulder since 2004 and since then has been recognized multiple times for outstanding dance offerings.

In celebration we are offering special drop in class prices for both our Beginning Level Class on Monday April 6th and our Mixed Level Class on April 9th during Boulder Arts Week!

Current students: invite your friends and join us, even if it’s not your regular class night. Let’s make this a true celebration of arts in Boulder.

Drop In Classes

Beginning Level: Monday April 6th, 6pm:

Here you’ll start to learn the fundamental steps and movements from an instructor with over 35 years experience in this dance form! We start each class with a quick review of the movement we’ve done the previous class then break down a new step. If there is time you’ll follow along putting some of the steps into an improvised dance.

Mixed Level: Thursday April 9th, 5:30pm:

We’ll start off in the first section of class learning some of the fundamentals from our beginning level classes, along with some intermediate steps and concepts. After the movement and/or concept breakdown dancers will get to work in groups with other dancers at their skill level or with the teacher.

A great opportunity to not only learn the art of the dance, but, to also connect and build community with dancers from a variety of levels within our community.
