More About This Purple & Gold Bodice, Belt & Gauntlet Set

Purple and gold sari fabrics on the exterior. Black cotton on the inside.

Bodice design looks to be based on our vintage sari bodices with laces at the front, sides and shoulders.

Belt features long fringe and 4 sets of grommets and ties with a customizable fit.

Gauntlets have similar design with grommets and ties.

Unknown designer (no tags).

Previously owned and on consignment. In good condition. Clean on the outside. Some signs of wear on the inside.

Size

Bodice: Fits busts from about 35″ up to about 38″. Front center measurement is about 5 1/2″. Size can be adjusted by loosening or tightening the the laces. Check out our “how to overlap lacing” article for how to make this fit even smaller, if needed.

Belt: Fits about 36″ when all ties are at the smallest. Could go up to 40″+ as size can be adjusted by loosening the laces.

Gauntlets: 10″ from end to end. Size can be adjusted bigger by loosening the laces or smaller by overlaping the laces.
