Every October ATS/FCBDStyle® dancers from around the world create flash mobs in their community. Songs are voted on throughout the year and the winning song is used to create spontaneous dances in public spaces on every continent of the globe.
More Details About The 2026 World Wide Flash Mob
The Nawaar Dance Company looks forward to this annual ATS/FCBD flash mob with great anticipation! This year troupe members and students from our various classes come together to dance to this year’s dynamic song. We are excited to be out in the nature in Boulder once again.
Location & Time
Come and watch this year’s flash mob!
Sunday October 11th, 3:30pm (performers show up at 3pm)
We are not sure on the exact location within the park, but, meet us there and we’ll figure it out.
Sawhill Ponds
(west side of 75th Street, 0.6 mile north of Valmont Road in Boulder, CO)
If you have never been to the pedestrian zone on Pearl Street you are in for a treat! Lots of fun shops, restaurants and street performers most weekends. This area is free and open to the public.
General Details
Our plan is to start dancing at 3:30pm. We will be there early to film our ‘establishing shots’ and scout out the exact location. This should be fun!
If you’ll be joining us to watch and cheer us on, we suggest showing up early and enjoying all the area has to offer has to offer: including gentle trails (good for the whole family), fishing (with a permit), picnic area and birding. Then make your way to our flash mob location around 3:30.. and act surprised
Interested in dancing with us in future flash mobs? We ask that you be a current student and attend the planning classes & rehearsals. Start dancing with us anytime. We’d love to have you! Learn more about our classes.
Weather in the Rockies:
Fall weather in the Rocky Mountains can be unpredictable; it can be warm and sunny one day and then a full blizzard the next. Stay tuned on our Facebook event page in the case of severe weather. We will post there if there is any need to reschedule or change plans.
Parking
We don’t expect their to be problems finding parking, however, carpools are encourage- besides it’s good for the environment!
