Description

Our richly colored royal silk tassel belt features unique hand wrapped and beaded silk tassels. These tassels flow freely with movement and the chained bell falls add a little melodic sound with each step!  The traditional Balachi textile belt base is adorned with buttons and bells. Great for stage work and festivals alike!

Mirrored flair medallion guls add finish off each end of the belt at the ties. Belt can be tied at the front, back, or either side, depending on personal preference. When a belt is a little short for your hip width consider tying it at a side and tucking your skirt up over the tie section!

Balachi textile belt base measures about 32″ long x 3″ tall. With tassels included the overall height is about 13-14″ tall. Total length with black cable ties is about 60″.

All new materials.

When multiples exist, variations in tassel color or design may occur.

How To Wear Them

Traditionally worn low on the hip, our hand-wrapped royal silk tassel belts are a favorite among belly dancers!  With amazing color & movement, it’s no surprise to see them turned into festival tasseled skirts, too!

Whether you are a FCBD®Style/ATS belly dancer, fusion dancer or a folkloric dancer, you have probably been a long time fan of the great movement and color in our Royal Tassel Belts. These nicely weighted silk tassels are hand wrapped and beaded. They accent all the bounce and sway we, as bellydancers, are so well known for.

Traditionally worn low on the hip, the tassels pop with hip locks and flow with undulations making them ideal for performances. Great detailing in the wrapping, beading and belt are are apparent from close up. The large size and rich colors of the tassels also make them ideal for large stages. Helpful when you need to be seen from a distance.

Used in this example: royal tassel belt, sari trim skirt, 25 yard cupcake skirt and a black lace choli top with a coin bra.
