Assembled with gorgeous vintage Hari Tari and Sari fabrics, these vests feature a unique styling of corset-like grommet & tie seams in front, sides and shoulders adjust to comfortably fit most body shapes. They look great worn over cholis, sheer Ghawazee coats and rennaisance dresses or wear them without the addition of an under shirt or dress in warmer weather. Lined with medium weight black cotton fabric on the inside.. these vest are reversible and can be worn as an all black vest. Roll cursor over image on left to see a reversed vest sample. Includes removable black ties that can be swapped out should you desire a different look from you vest in the future. We have found these look great with satin ribbons for ties... just use Fray Check to keep the edges neat. You can choose colors for the ties that match other elements in your costuming. For example, if you are wearing a white skirt, consider chosing white satin ties... Each vest is one of a kind and comes in the size listed. Any vest can be adjusted up to 3" smaller than the size listed by using our overlap lacing technique. See the bottom of the page for instructions.

Overlap Lacing Instructions An ideal solution for adjusting the size of your vest up to 3" smaller
1) Remove laces completely
2) Feed lace thru top grommet of both vest sections so that about 3" sticks out at the top
3) Take the long remainder of tie that was inside the vest and feed it thru the bottom grommet
3) overlap grommets so all holes line up
4) feed long tie thru bottom grommets
5) Feed long bottom tie from outside to inside thru second from bottom grommets and back out thru the third from bottom grommets and tie with remaining shorter tie section at top grommet...et voila!
To reduce size by:
1" overlap only center seam
2" overlap only side seams
3" overlap center and side seams
