These 'Vintage Silk' Sari Fabrics are similar to the fabric used for our thicker Salawar found on our costuming page. They are perfect for creating your own one-of-a-kind costuming creations. Whether you are making Cholis, Pantaloons, Tiered or Panel Skirts, we find this thicker style to be great for adding volume. For home decor, this fabric can't be beat. It makes lovely throw pillows, bed spreads and curtains. They are the original fabrics used some years back as attire in India. They have been cleaned, starched and pressed. Condition of fabric will vary.

Antique Rose 'Vintage Sari' Fabric

Medium red tone with small pale gold and green accent flowers throughout. Elaborate pale gold accents on 3 sides. One of the long sides features scalloped detailing as pictured on the right side of the image. Some slight spots and a 1 1/2" hole near the edge on one long side. Old Afghani Metal Fluted Tubes

These long, fluted tube-shaped beads measure about 1 1/2" long and have a ribbed pattern around column. Bead opening is approximately 1/4" in diameter. Color, ribbing and condition vary. Sold in packs of 4. Limited quantities available.

Old Metal Beads from Ethiopia

These small beads make great accents on many costuming elements; bras, armbands, belly drapes, jewelry & headpieces to name just a few. Each one is completely hand shaped and has a nice aged appearance! Approximately 3/16" long with a 1/16" diameter opening. Sold individually. Limited quantites available.

Kukui Nuts from Hawaii

These large beads measure about 1" wide x 1 1/8" tall and appear as a solid black tone, more so than the photo represents. Opening measures approximately 1/8". Sold in sets of 4. Limited quantites available.

Yellow Bead Flair & Caterpillars
